USA Football
Cancellation of 2020 FLYFCL season

Keeping with our mission to provide a safe, fun, educational environment, it is with great sadness that we, the Finger Lakes Youth Football and Cheer Executive Board announce the cancelation of the 2020 FLYFCL season.

This decision was not made lightly as we took into the consideration the advice from our local health officials, NYSDOH, CDC, USA Football, NYSPHSAA and data from local clubs prior to voting.

It's hard to imagine a fall without football and cheer. We will all miss the sounds from the stands, the smells from the concession stand; but more importantly, we will miss the smiles from the kids as they participate in a sport they love.

Requests for registration fee refunds will be handled separately by each club. Please refer to your club for their process and timeline for refunds.

Even though there will not be a FLYFCL season, some individual clubs may choose to host camps or other activities to keep the children connected with their respective sport. We hope that your child stays active during this time and we look forward to seeing everyone back for the 2021season. Until then, stay safe - stay healthy!

Thank you,

FLYFCL Executive Board
